【2 QUESTIONs about business conference】
Q1. You meet someone at conference for the first time, what do you say?
A1, If room is too cold, may be i'll say "it's a little cold, isn't it ?" and keep talking... or if i have to introduce myself face to face, in this situation "Thank you for coming here(inviting me), my name is ~, nice to see you."

Q2. Soon you have to go to a presentation, so you must end the conversation with the person you just met, what do you say?
A2. i think in this case, it's better to tell the real reason to that person at the good timing. So..."I'm very sorry, i have to final check my presentation is coming soon today. I had a great time to talk to you, thank you. I'm looking forward to talking together next time"^▼^

【Go~ 4 QUESTIONs】
Q1. What did you do in class today?
A1. Today, we learned "Listening Collocations & Numbers" from CD. We were thinking about the connections of words. and Dan taught us how to figure out the correct sounds, like... 10 to 30 %= 10 /te/30 %. At the end of the class, taboo questions in a conference were coming up again.

Q2. Did you enjoy doing these activities in class today? Why? or Why not?
A2. For me, it's one of the most important activitiy because i'm not good at listening. So, today's task was not only enjoying but also necessary. i need to used to listening with natural speed & pronunciation. it was good for me. i had a very good time.

Q3. Did you think these activities were easy or difficult? Why? or Why not?
A3. mmm~, now almost easy for me, i mean... some of these made me confused. especially in listening session, number is sometimes complicated for me. I think now i was changed from before, but i wanna tell you about the problem i had before.
In my case, when i listened to English, i often really concentrated on all of each word i heard. if i could catch the correct answer at this moment, i couldn't switch quickly from listening to writing.
This situation was repeated, then i already missed the next key word. As a result, i was confused "Which is a correct answer?". nothing is clearly for me.

Q4. What did you learn?
A4. i listened many times, so i learned how can i control my mind. for me, mind condition is a key point. today, we did 3 Extracts. the first answers in each of them are in the first sentence. So it was easy to miss catching it.
Good start dash makes me relax & concentrate more. i have to focus on hearing first sentence. in class, i could be best condition for keep listening.

★Dan's class★ ~part 2~

【Making Contact】 After reading two scripts "Speaker A" & "Speaker B", i chose these points as good techniques.

~from Speaker A~
・　going to the big talks by the industry leaders to keep up with the latest trends.
[bcuz : making conversation with people who represented from each field is good way to get information.]

~from Speaker B~
・　not to walk out of a talk halfway through to avoid doing bad manners.
[bcuz : every people have the right and the duty to talk to others and listen from others. if we need to walk out it, we have to apologize at the good timing.]
・　to wear best suit, best accessories, best shoes are good impression for best result.
[at formal event, it's really important not to be looked lazy. look simply, clean and decent is best.]

【Go~ 4 QUESTIONs】
Q1. What did you do in class today?
A1. we learned about what teachers do in a conference. next, we chose a country we wanna go if we have to go there for working. aftre that, we considered about the way to make contact easily even if for shy people.

Q2. Did you enjoy doing these activities in class today? Why? or Why not ?
A2. yes, of course. especially, at the end of the class we have time to consider about skills in conference. that was so interesting for me cuz i already knew there are some business differences between Japan & other countries. i'm interested in studying about how can we solve this gap. so o wanna learn more & more. ●^3^●

Q3.Did you think this activities were easy or difficult? Why? or Why not ?
A3. easy or difficult... i don't know which... but at least, this kind of subject is so necessary for us cuz it's helpful for us in the future. we need to learn & share the opinion about some business skills for our future.

Q4. What did you learn?
A4. i learned about some tips, techs to make contact even first time. if people are little shy, when thay can ready for conference, thay will be able to be good communicator cuz thay can relax and have confident of themselves.

【GREETING】
hi!! my name is yukako. i'm not sure how to start writing this blog. Actually i can't believe our English classes will finish in this session because i don't know that my skill was getting higher. i think i can improve my skill more & more, at least i hope so. now, i can't do anything without believing our fight in English classes. we've already overcome many hard work like assignments, homework, & presentations... something like that. so now, we can have confident of ourselves.
but now, i'm not sure how to keep our skill higher after finishing this session. i wanna teacher to tell us about that. anyway this English intensive program is really really helpful for me & my future.

Q1. What did you do in class today(April 13)?
A1. we made some groups, & asked some questions to our each partner. our questionnaire included introducing myself. we could know each other more than before, & got many information about partner.
Dan told us about this class's guide line. ^3^#

Q2. Did you enjoy doing these activities in class today? - Why? or Why not?
A2. of course, yes. because i had opportunities to talk with student who i don't know before.
and when i knew that her hometown is near mine, we were so excited!>_<# i thought it's good to be able to share the information each other.

Q3. Did you think these activities were easy or difficult? - Why? or Why not?
A3. it's not difficult because we sometimes use japanese in our conversation. ノ3\; but when we talk in completely English, even if we can't understand other's words, we are just only nodding.
i think that sittuation is not good. so totaly difficult question for me.

Q4. What did you learn?
A4. if i'm not positive, i will lose my chance to get my skill. e.g. we can get more information when we're positive for answering the teacher's question. we can get more information when i ask other student more & more. to say something & to pay attention carefully are the most important things to learn other language☆ ^▽^’’
